We present our care guide, focusing on the most common materials.

1. Bag Care Guide

A bag is probably the most used accessory. Protecting it requires special attention to storage and cleaning.

A. Genuine Leather Bags

Genuine leather is durable but requires moisturizing to prevent cracking.

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth to wipe off dust. Never use harsh detergents or wet wipes (which can contain alcohol and dry out the leather).

• Moisturizing: Apply a special leather cream or a neutral lotion every few months, gently massaging the material. This maintains the leather's elasticity.

• Protection: Avoid prolonged contact with water. If the bag gets wet, wipe it immediately and let it air dry at room temperature, away from direct heat sources.

• Oil Stains: Immediately apply talcum powder to the stain. Let it absorb the oil overnight, then brush it off gently.

B. Suede Bags

These materials are delicate and easily absorb moisture and stains.

• Dry Cleaning: Use a special suede brush (with rubber or brass bristles) to lift the nap and remove dust or dry stains. Always brush in the same direction.

• Wet Stains: Let the stain dry completely before brushing.

• Protection: Apply a special protective spray for suede (water repellent) immediately after purchase and repeat periodically.

C. Canvas or Fabric Bags

• Spot Cleaning: Treat stains with a soft sponge and cold water, using a small amount of neutral soap. Rub gently.

• Washing: Avoid washing completely in a washing machine, as it can damage leather accessories or the bag's rigidity. If necessary, hand wash in cold water.

Footwear requires regular cleaning and conditioning to withstand the elements.

A. Smooth Leather Footwear

• Cleaning: Remove dirt with a soft brush. Apply a special leather cleaning solution, wipe, then let dry.

• Golden Rule: Don't wear them in the rain!

• Cleaning: Clean the sole and exterior with a soft brush and soapy water. Avoid putting them in the washing machine, as it can damage the internal structure and adhesives.

• Drying: Let them air dry, filling the inside with paper towels to absorb moisture and maintain their shape.

3. Universal Rules for Accessories

1. Maintaining Shape: When not using the bag, fill it with tissue paper or plastic bubbles (not newspapers, which can leave ink). Use shoe trees for shoes to absorb moisture and maintain their shape.

2. Proper Storage: Store accessories in fabric dust bags, not plastic bags, to allow the material to breathe and prevent mold. Store them in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.

3. Patience: Always let shoes rest for at least 24 hours between wears.
